How the process works

The first step is to CALL Debbie Cerone! She'll set up an appointment and come out with her portfolio, including photos of murals and other decorative art and hand-painting, faux finish or texture samples and her "idea book" that will let you explore some of the many possibilities her work has to offer.

For faux finishes, Debbie can prepare sample boards featuring your color selections for $25/per sample board. Please note, sample board charges will be deducted from your job cost when you retain Debbie for your project. Once you approve a sample board, it's simply a matter of arranging a mutually convenient day to start work.

Afterward, you can sit back and enjoy your home!

General Pricing Guidelines
Here are some general pricing guidelines, so that you can determine what you would like to do within your budget. Often times, simple handpainted embellishments, such as hand-painted "ivy" around a room or painting a nursery or child's room can be done in only a day or two and can totally change the way you see that room - taking it from ordinary to extraordinary!

Faux Finishing and Textures - Depending on the "finish" chosen and the amount of wall prep needed, the average faux finish is approx. $1.00 to $3.00 a square foot and a little more for specialty finishes, such as textures.

Hand Painting and Custom Stenciling - avg. $50 an hour (plus the costof materials and extra prep time for custom designs).

Murals - This is probably the most difficult type of work to estimate, since there are an array of variables in terms of size and detail, available reference material, etc. As a rule of thumb, most murals cost somewhere between $10 and $25 per square foot.
